Wisconsin-based logistics provider Valley Companies appointed Jason Mansur vice president of enterprise partnerships, the company announced Nov. 9.
Mansur, a 20-plus year industry veteran, will work with the brokerage’s management to develop new commercial solutions and build carrier relations and partnerships.
“With Jason, we’re gaining an additional perspective — one that includes a vast range of executive experience,” Valley Companies President and CEO Todd Gilbert said in a statement. “His knowledge will enhance our strategies around carrier partnerships, while driving innovation and value for strategic vendors.”
Mansur has more than 20 years of logistics experience. He has worked in leadership roles for FedEx and Logistics Planning Services, now GlobalTranz.
Mansur most recently served as president and chief operating officer for Wisconsin-based 3PL Evans Transportation Services, where his duties included relationship building and organizational scaling, the company said.
Mansur’s appointment follows the recent hiring of former Yellow Logistics leaders Rick Loerke as director of customer solutions and Nathan Ragner as logistics specialist.
Hudson-based Valley Companies, which was founded in 1935 as a trucking company, sold its fleet assets in 2019 to focus on its 3PL segment, according to a company spokesperson. Mansur’s experience will be tapped to aid in the company’s growth.
“What’s unique about Valley is that it allows me to come into a role that’s focused on carving out improvements for customers, prospective customers, carrier partners and other vendors, while helping to further develop our leadership team,” Mansur said in a statement.
