P.A.M. Transportation Services appointed Lance Stewart as CFO, treasurer and vice president of finance, according to a Friday securities filing.
He has held the CFO and treasurer positions on an interim basis as of March 13, following a resignation anouncement from Allen West.
Stewart has been with the company for over three decades, and has been the VP of operations for the company’s primary operating subsidiary, P.A.M. Transport, since 2020. His previous roles included VP of accounting and controller at P.A.M. Transport.
He will receive an annual base salary of $378,560 and is eligible to participate in incentive plans for executive officers this year.
It’s unclear whether Stewart will maintain his duties as VP of operations at P.A.M. Transport.
The Arkansas-based truckload carrier had an operating income of nearly $124 million in 2022, a 24% increase YoY. As of Dec. 31, the company employed 2,575 drivers and listed a total fleet of 2,451 trucks and 7,784 trailers.
