Carrier executives and other industry stakeholders descended on Nashville for the American Trucking Associations’ 2024 Management Conference & Exhibition last week.
Trucking leaders heard insights from ATA President and CEO Chris Spear, ATA Chief Economist Bob Costello and political pundit Karl Rove. Expert panels discussed driver engagement in a tough economy, tips for navigating increasing severe weather and other major industry concerns.
Many attendees took a chance to explore the fifth-generation Freightliner Cascadia, which was unveiled at the conference.
Of course, any visit to Music City should always include some live music, if possible.
Daimler Truck North America’s annual customer appreciation concert featured an ear-ringing surprise set from Def Leppard, and I was personally glad I could make a trip to the legendary Bluebird Cafe for a songwriter’s night.
We’ve put together a roundup of our conference coverage, in case you missed it – and don’t worry, there’s more to come.
Thanks, as always, for reading Trucking Dive!
