A. Duie Pyle has opened a service center in West Virginia, its first facility in the state, the company announced this month.
The LTL carrier has serviced West Virginia since December 2022, hauling freight from its nearby terminals in Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
The Charleston facility opening follows the opening of A. Duie Pyle’s Virginia service centers in Richmond, Manassas and Roanoake and will further enhance the company’s Northeast network, COO of LTL Solutions John Luciani said in a statement.
"The new service center enables us to strengthen service to our existing West Virginia customer base, and we look forward to the growth opportunities it brings,” Luciani said.
The 99-year-old company, based near Philadelphia, touted its inaugural West Virginia facility as a milestone solidifying its geographical reach within its Mid-Atlantic core area.
The carrier now has 28 service centers and 18 warehouses strategically located around the region.
